Description

Design of a commercial building made of glued-laminated timber with a footprint of approximately 55,000 square feet. The building, with a height of 21′-6”, houses a mezzanine of approximately 2,000 square feet. B.E.S. designed the wood structure as well as the connections. The building design takes into account the optimization of the wood structure to make it competitive with steel.
